Super Smash Brothers Melee "APRIL FOOLS JOKE" (BELOW: THIS IS FAKE!)
In the April issue of Electronic Gaming
Monthly It said, under cheats, that you could be Tails and Sonic if you could achieve a high-score of 20 kills on Cruel
Melee. THAT IS NOT TRUE!!! Do not even try it, do not even listen to it, because it is all FAKE!!! I was so gulable to even
try it. It is probably possible to get a high-score of 20 but it is not true that you get Tails and Sonic as a reward.
It says also in the issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly, April, that while playing as Fox McCloud
or even Falco on the Lylat System level,(Corneria or Venom), by quickly pressing down on the control pad that your character
will crouch and hail transmissions from your wingmen. This is NOT FAKE!
The only thing that seems to be real in the issue, that is what I
have researched, is being able to arrange your trophies in the order that you want them to be in. The instructions to perform
such a task is hold down R,L, or Y and press A to go in to your collection screen. You can view them in 5 different views
by doing so. (L and Y have two different layout styles).
I'M Justin Bailey!
In the April issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly I found this article...
"Q: What is the story behind the Justin Bailey code in Metroid on the NES?
A: First, let us explain the code: In putting the code "JUSTIN BAILEY" with dashes or zeros on the second line (and a
few other variations) as your password lets you play as Samus without her power suit. Justin Bailey might be someone's name
somewhere, but thats not what it's being used for here. In certain circles (pinned as an Australian or Euro-Phase), "bailey"
refers to a swimsuit. So the code means you play as Samus in only her swimsuit, or "Just in bailey." Hubba hubba"
In the section "Letters to the Editors" of Electronic Gaming Montly, the April issue, I found this odd article.
"Square Roots and Pong Paddles"
While other people were hard at work in my math class, I decided to have some fun, I took out my TI-85 graphing calculator
and learned to program for it. After a few days and failed games, I finally got the hang of it. So far I've programed four
games and three applications for it. I got so into it that I took my dinky four foot link cable and "modified" it to reach
roughly 40 feet. I then used it to distribute my games to other peoples calculators and play them in my two player multiplayer
games: TI Checkers and Arena. The game-playing has gotten so out of hand that my math teacher has banned the calculators from
her class! Now we can only take them out with expicit permission to do so. Also, we can't use them on our test anymore because
of a program that lets you solve any quadratic equation instantly."
